They are happy to raise your premiums and excesses when they want to, but don’t expect them to payout a claim fairly when it comes time. You will also need to deal with unempathetic claims managers who won’t give you the light of day to understand what you are trying to tell them, and if you want to raise a complaint to AFCA, don’t bother because SCI will just request them to throw out the complaint. Horrible company with horrible values, wouldn’t recommend this insurer for anyone.

We don't need insurance until the day we do! My Friday evening was interrupted by a vehicle driving through a clients unit and the only number I had on hand was that of the state manager who was truly wonderful in helping to get the immediate repairs authorized and underway with quality contractors and getting the loss adjuster in straight away to manage the engineering and rebuilding so that by Tuesday everything is on track to get back to normality. It is wonderful to be able to deal with people who truly care about their clients and thank you to Ben and the team for continuing to prove that the clients come first and while incidents will continue to occur, having SCI in your corner is a great start toward repair.
