After a tree branch fell onto my asbestos roof a small hole let water in to damage the ceiling, TV unit and carpet. One phone call to Kym at Elders Insurance set the ball in motion. Tradesmen were sent out the next day to cover the hole to prevent further damage. All other tradesmen to replace the roof, repair the ceiling, re-paint and replace the carpet were professional and completed the work to a high standard. This insurance claim was completed without fuss and with little effort on my part. Thanks Elders Insurance!

Awful insurance agent. You will pay excessively high premiums and will likely be charged extra excesses on top of your standard excess. I had a zero claim history and their underwriter QBE placed an imposed excess of $1000 on top of my standard excess when I went to make a claim. I was not in anyway helped by staff at elders, they were rude and dismissive, and often not available to take my call for weeks at a time. Your claims will not be fully covered and you will again have an awful time getting in contact with staff from the office who will do absolutely nothing to assist you. I have changed insurance recently and realised I have been charged 2.5 times the average market value for premium coverage. Be mindful if you sign up with Elders you will be giving your money away freely for nothing in return.
