We’ve been using PSC Insurance Brokers in Canberra for around 3 years. We run a marketing agency with around 14 staff both in Canberra and remote. Working with Paul Eccles has been a great experience. He’s responsive, takes time to understand our business and has deep experience in different industries that he always uses to help educate us around options. We’ve made a few claims over the years and the back office team were also helpful and responsive. Some insurance just feels like an expensive drag, Paul’s changed our view on it and we actually feel like it’s doing the job it’s meant to do.
Zero stars for any company who promotes the opposite of what they provide. I found the service lazy - emailing forms and asking for a payment is hardly understanding my business needs and negotiating the right level of cover. The insurance world is complex, I asked for assistance and apparently this was way too much to ask. I found them rude, obnoxious and careless.
A less than pleasant experience with a broker who either forgot or failed to read properly the significant information I sent through to enable a quote, and was abrasive in communications when I clarified that information being requested was either irrelevant, not applicable, or already provided. Comms felt unfriendly and patronising, and resulted in my looking elsewhere. Sad to have time wasted on both sides of the interaction.
I expect a broker to be someone who communicates clearly about what I'm signing up to in the opaque world of insurance. Communications was obtuse, often lacking. Emails not responded to and when I was finally contacted patronising. All round a lack of care and attention.
