MGA Insurance Group is a privately owned and controlled insurance broker founded in October 1975 by John George, originally under the JR George Family Trust. Operating as MGA Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd, it holds Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) 244601. The group employs over 200 personnel across 39 metro and regional offices, serving more than 65,000 clients. Its brokers have specialised in general insurance for 50 years, utilising all major Australian insurers and selected international security.
