4.3 / 5 · 32 totalWorst I surance company ever underwritten by LLoyds. They won't warranty floorboards damages in an open plan house and replace the lot because the boards abutt old boards. Half the open plan is affected. They are trying to cash pay me put and their amount is so unrealistically low for the remediation works. Further water damage appeared since their initial inspection. They said they'd send someone out and never did. Never go with strata insurance with flex or Lloyd's. They provide zero communication I paid insurance for floorboards damage and they refuse to do it and warrant it and want to cash pay me put which won't cover the damage. Plus I am medically incapable of project managing the project and yet they still insist. The are terrible and cruel. It's currently in arbitration and they just send the same information that lacks any details of what they will do except I have to do it all. edit. this has now been goin gon for 6 months. The damage has gotten worse as it was flood damage and the floors further dried out. Their payout figure is about 20% of what it needs to be. Flex are just putting a reply to make themselves look good. They won't do a single thing. Flex and LLoyds - Never go with them under any circumstances. They cannot even get the damage report done properly
Flex have been horrible to deal with. Our property flooded two and a half weeks ago and we haven't been able to get any response to our claim. We were asvised to remove the trades we brought in to begin the process of drying, but since that occurred they ignore emails, ignore calls and seem very unconcerned about the secondary damage being caused to our property which has been sitting wet for this period.
I needed information and I am so pleased to have spoken to KAS. She was most helpful and understanding. Kas took her time and explained everything. Thank you Kas.
Flex insurance has been extremely difficult to work with. When dealing with losing your home temporarily you want a provider you can rely on, who will support you in your time of need. ESPECIALLY when you are paying a hefty yearly fee. I am disgusted in the service I have and still am receiving. I have been unable to live at home with my family for over 2 months due to flooding. Our contents insurance with ING have been incredible and it is such a shame the minimal work that is required from our own building insurance which mind you we have paid DOUBLE the amount in comparison to contents insurance is abysmal. No communication, no call backs, no responses to emails, being put on hold for 45 minutes only to have our call rejected, the list goes on. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT go with this provider. We will not be renewing our insurance with them and I deeply encourage others to do the same. No one deserves this awful treatment in their darkest hours. Stay safe out there.
Our properties have been sold. We requested them to refund for the services we didn't use. They informed us to contact the new owners and referred to the contract, etc. We asked them to state clearly for what they refferred too for a few times. They didn't response to that. But they aimed for just not to refund. Her name is Susan Kim.
Flex insurance were so helpful when I was trying to find insurance for our duplex in Qld. Qld changed their insurance laws that duplexes must have strata insurance, which we'd never had before. The owner of the other half of the duplex and I had no idea where to start. We contacted several insurance companies and were told that we had to take out all sorts of add on insurance options that we didn't need and therefore the cost went up and up. Flex insurance was fantastic. They explained the minimum requirements we needed under Qld law, and they had the flexibility to only take out the insurance coverage we needed. As a result, their quote was substantially lower than most of the others. They also really quickly got the certificate of insurance to us, and made some last minute changes, no hassle. If you have a small complex, or a duplex, I absolutely highly recommend Flex insurance. They were a life saver for us.
I cant remember the name of the lovely gentleman that I spoke to but he was very supportive. It was a nightmare try to work through web sites to find companies who understand Queensland Duplex / Strata title insurance requirements. The level of services was excellent and his patience was outstanding.
