Couldn’t recommend Remingtons highly enough. They look after both our business and personal insurance and have been great to deal with. The team is always responsive, professional and incredibly helpful. They are also informative when it comes to claims support, making the whole process easy. Fantastic service all round.

I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company for insurance services. Based on my experience, I have found both the conduct of the company and its owner, Max, to be deeply concerning and wholly unprofessional. The company failed to properly update and maintain our insurance policy despite being specifically instructed to do so. Critical errors and omissions were made by staff during the policy renewal and amendment process, resulting in our property and assets being significantly underinsured without our knowledge. We relied on their expertise and assurances that the policy accurately reflected our coverage requirements. When an insurable event subsequently occurred, the insurer relied upon these errors and deficiencies to deny the claim almost entirely, leaving us exposed to catastrophic financial losses exceeding $300,000. This has caused enormous financial hardship, operational disruption, and ongoing emotional stress. What is most alarming is not simply the original mistake, but the complete lack of accountability afterwards. Following the denial of the claim, the owner, Max, acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and indicated that if the insurer ultimately refused the claim, they would seek to rectify the matter by lodging a claim under their own professional insurance coverage. Those assurances gave us some confidence that the company intended to take responsibility for the situation they had created. However, despite those representations, there has been little to no meaningful follow-up. Communications have progressively ceased, and repeated attempts to contact the company through phone calls, emails, text messages, and formal correspondence have largely been ignored. We have been left entirely in the dark with no updates, no assistance, no transparency, and no genuine effort to resolve the matter or honour the commitments that were made to us. Rather than taking ownership of a serious professional failing, the company and its representatives have instead avoided communication and distanced themselves from the consequences of their own errors. The complete lack of responsiveness and accountability after causing losses of this magnitude has been incredibly disappointing and distressing. In my opinion, this demonstrates a serious failure in professional responsibility, client care, and basic ethical conduct. Insurance brokers and advisers are entrusted to protect their clients’ interests and ensure policies are accurate and suitable. In this case, that trust was completely broken, with devastating financial consequences. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking reliable, competent, or trustworthy insurance advice or policy management.
