My experience with Lockton has been deeply troubling. In my dealings with them, I found their conduct to be ethically questionable, as they seemed to prioritise protecting their client at all costs. In my view, this included providing information that did not fully reflect the reality of the situation, which I believe contributed to significant harm by facilitating a process that overlooked workplace abuse and instead supported the employer’s curated version of events. While I understand their role is to represent employers’ interests, I feel there is a fundamental line between advocacy and enabling misconduct. From what I have experienced, Lockton showed a willingness to cross that line. If your company engages Lockton, I would strongly recommend seeking independent advice to protect your rights and wellbeing.
