I contacted Strata Insurance Solutions when I was after an alternative option to my current strata insurance. I dealt with James Bombinski, who made the process super easy and was able to provide me with a handful of options that were very competitive. The Committee ended up approving to proceed with one of the options we got from James. Definitely recommend and will definitely use their services again

I am submitting this review and feedback in praise of Strata Insurance Solutions who oversaw the restoration work done on my property. Unfortunately there was an incident that resulted in level 3 flooding downstairs, (an external body corp liability) however, I was fortunate that my body corp had a contract with Strata Insurance Solutions who were outstanding in the process of getting my place fully restored allowing me to move back within 6 weeks. Communication both verbal and written Strata Insurance Solutions were both effective and timely with their communication, they ensured I was fully informed throughout the process and provided me with a written scope of works outlining the dates and activities to be undertaken - which was pretty well spot on in regards to the timeline. Acknowledgement and a big thanks and shout out to Sue at Strata who co-ordinated the restoration process and was the main point of contact. Efficient with professional throughout, Sue oversaw the progress and addressed any issue along the way. I am grateful for her support not only for the physical needs but also for my emotional needs as incidents like these take a toil on you mentally. Like to also thank Cara and Maddy from ICR Group who listened and took info account my personal requirements and relocated me in a nice apartment close to home. This made all difference as I was able to be at home in 11 minutes when required (many times). Also need to include, in this feedback, Strata’s partnership with Nexus who were contracted to undertake the restoration work. John at Nexus oversaw the process and was on hand either over the phone or on site to address and resolve issues. John was at all times courteous and professional and I felt reassured knowing that he was working to make this process as smooth as possible. Quality of work Two years prior to this incident, downstairs was fully renovated with high-end flooring, plastering, paint and new kitchen. Strata Insurance Solutions and Nexus fully restored it as in like for like - the same materials and quality workmanship. I am extremely happy and grateful it looks exactly as before. Issues There were abound to be issues - the one and only major problem was the installation of the flooring. Not only did the layout not meet the manufactures recommendation and guidelines but it also lacked aesthetics, ie ugly repeating staircase patterns, poor colour tone ie board selections and overall unnatural look Nexus and Strata agreed this was not up to standard and were equally disappointed. John had the sub contractors return twice to uplift and relay ensuring It was completed properly. Feedback I received during this process from family and/or others who experienced something similar or know of someone told me horror stories of restorations dragging on for months and months or in one instance over a year and of poor quality work, difficulties with the the insurer etc, I on the other hand, experienced non of that and count myself lucky that I had Strata and Nexus working with me. In summary I would recommend Strata Insurance Solutions and Nexus to everyone in a heartbeat.

They also have a claims department which gave us the confidence to take back control of our insurance cover. They also made the transfer hassle free without complication. Committees need to take control of their complex and we were totally unaware we could source our own insurance. All 15 unit owners are happier and glad to find Strata Insurance Services.
