GIO was founded in 1927 as the Government Insurance Office and has been a trusted insurer for 99 years. GIO is a trading name of AAI Limited. It offers car, home, business, CTP, public liability, and workers compensation insurance. GIO has a network of approximately 300 motor repairers nationwide and provides a guarantee on repairs authorised by them.
